Our Story
PEMEXA-Germany is a registered chapter of the Association of Ex-Students of Presbyterian Secondary School Mankon, in Bamenda, in Cameroon, currently residing in Germany.
The Presbyterian Secondary School Mankon (aka P.S.S. Mankon) is one of the most prestigious secondary and high school institutions in Cameroon. It is located in Bamenda, in the North West Region of Cameroon, and is one of the great landmarks of the province, and of the nation. P.S.S. Mankon consistently records outstanding results in the Cameroon General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examinations, and is the alma mater of some of the greatest minds that Cameroon can boast of.
PEMEXA is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, created to bring together former students of P.S.S. Mankon. One of the primary aims of this association is to round up the force of all its members in order to to engage in social, educational, religious and other activities directed towards the overall advancement of this commendable institution. Other chapters of PEMEXA exist in Cameroon, the United Kingdom, the United States and other parts of the world.
PEMEXA-Germany comprises of ex-students of P.S.S. Mankon currently residing in the Germany. In keeping with the overall mission of PEMEXA, members of PEMEXA-GERMANY come together to share their common heritage, harness their resources, seek avenues to create new visions for P.S.S. Mankon, and carry out projects geared towards maintaining and even alleviating the status of P.S.S. Mankon as one of the best educational institutions in Cameroon, thereby giving back to an institution that laid a solid foundation and re-enforced in them the discipline, knowledge, and survival skills that have contributed in making them the responsible citizens they are today.

Members of PEMEXA-GERMANY also provide each other with moral as well as sociological support, serve as mentors to students presently at P.S.S. Mankon, and also to alumni upon arrival in GERMANY. They use their varying expertise to make their presence felt within various communities in GERMANY in which they live, thereby contributing to nation building, amongst many other positive attributes, and participating in community service projects that foster unity in a culturally diversified society.
Funding for PEMEXA-GERMANY activities is generated from membership contributions, fundraising activities, and charitable donations from friends and affiliates.
Presbyterian Secondary School Ex– Student Association is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Consequently, all donations to Pemexa-Germany or any of its branches are tax deductible.
